Castlebar’s Frank Forde is well established as a comedian on the Theatre circuit around the country and abroad. Frank’s impersonations of Irish sporting personalities have earned him coverage on the Late Late Show, and on the Joe Duffy Show.
He writes most of his own material which includes the use of regional accents. His brand of humour is very much rooted in the Irish way of living. He has perfected the art of allowing people to laugh at themselves. He is particularly popular on the Cabaret scene.
He has won many Entertainment Awards recognising his unique ability to make people laugh but his more serious roles as Michael Noonan, Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh, Colm O’Rourke, Jackie Healy Rae, Padraig Flynn, Michael D & Enda Kenny
