Tribute by Jimmy Murphy
As well as being a valued member of our choir he was also a member of the Belcarra Church Choir. He travelled with us on a number of our overseas trips. His last trip with us was in March 2008 when we travelled to Hochstadt in Germany. He left us at the end of that season but continued to sing with the Church Choir until ill health prevented him from doing so.
He was a man of deep faith, a faith that brought him great support as he coped with the death of his wife Carmel and three of his four sons. Tom, Niall and Robert. He was laid to rest in Guesdian Cemetery on Sept 14th St Ann’s Church Belcarra . The members of Mayo Male Voice Choir extend sympathy to his son Ian, his daughters-in-law, grandchildren and to his sisters Florrie and Mary.

This is a lovely tribute, sir. Angus spoke of you all fondly. I was sad when he quit singing with the choir because he loved it so much. Sorry I am only seeing this now (May 2018!). God Bless,
Lisa Kathleen Ryan (Niall Ryan’s wife)
