Ballina Chamber Choir hosted the Ballina Sings event, part of the Mayo International Choral Festival, at the Ballina Arts Centre on the evening of the 25th May, 2017. The Mayo Male Voice Choir and Swedish group Cantare Chamber Choir were their guests.
Our hosts the Ballina Chamber Choir which was formed in 2011.
Because we were seated behind the stage our view for the first part was the back of our hosts The Ballina Chamber Choir so no video but we do have an mp3 file of one of their numbers.
After the brief interval MMVC were not in the auditorium until it was our turn to perform. The second half was started by The Cantare Chamber Choir from Sweden, a mixed choir established for some 35 years.
After enjoying some more views of the Moy from the Arts Centre it was our turn to be on stage.
